Kingspan approached CDG to work with their Panels department to bring to market a range of products to compliment the competitive industrial construction industry. CDG created a new design from the initial icon to give the brand movement and regeneration.

About The Client

Kingspan Group is a leading provider of a range of sustainable products for the construction industry. The Group’s principal activities comprise the manufacture of insulated panels, rigid insulation boards, raised access floors, steel frame and timber frame off-site solutions, environmental and renewable fuel & water storage solutions and hot water systems.

The Challenge

The construction industry changed dramatically in 2007/8 with this Kingspan needed to rejuvenate their identity and move their focus to other products. The Brand needed a change yet not an overhaul and it needed to show movement into the next generation of building suppliers. How would Kingspan generate this idea of moving forward and yet consolidate their position and launch new products.

The Solution

A brand is something special and once generated it is hard to let go. The initial brand of Kingspan was regal and corporate and served the company well so introducing a new identity would have been considered difficult. Therefore, taking its existing identity and altering it ever so slightly, gave the brand movement and regeneration. CDG helped provide this new generation along with branded literature especially for the Insulated Panels sector. Creating a style that was sympathetic to the improved brand, the new literature allowed the sales and marketing teams spread the word of how forward thinking Kingspan were and imbued the confidence of the company and its corporate brand awareness. CDG delivered the design and collateral for this new embarkation.
